PARK SHELTER RESERVATION FEES & CANCELLATION POLICY

RESIDENTS of Pleasant Hills Borough may reserve picnic shelters the first business day of the New Year.  To reserve shelter’s #1 & #2 at Mowry Park and shelter’s A & B at Pleasant Kingdom, there is a fee of $75.00 of which $25.00 will be refunded if the shelter area is clean and in order and no damage done.  The cost of repairing damage, cleaning the shelter area or replacing equipment or tables shall be the responsibility of the permit holder.  The charge for shelters # 3 & #4 in Mowry Park is $25.00/no refund.

NON-RESIDENT reservations will be accepted after April 15th of the New Year for the shelters above.  The cost is $100.00 of which $25.00 will be refunded if the shelter area is clean and in order and no damage done.  Mowry Park Shelter’s #3 & #4 is $25.00/no refund.

  • Shelters may be reserved in person.  Fee is due at time of reservation request.   If shelter reservation is made by phone, the reservation will be held for five (5) business days before being removed from reservation list if fee has not been paid.
  • All permits MUST be paid for in person; show a picture I.D. and permit holder’s signature agreeing to all Borough terms is required.

Cancellation Policy:

  1. If cancelled at least 60 days prior to the event, a full refund will be made.
  2. If cancelled between 30 and 59 days of the event, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
  3. No refund shall be made if cancelled less than 30 days before the event.

Pleasant Hills Borough church groups, day care centers, borough organizations and Sheetz Convenience Stores, the fee is $50.00 which $25.00 will be refunded if the shelter area is clean and in order with no damage done.

Non Pleasant Hills Area church groups, schools, day care centers and other community organizations, the fee is $100.00 which $25.00 will be refunded if the shelter area is clean and in order with no damage done.

$25.00 SECURITY FEE APPLIES TO:  ALL WJH SCHOOL ORGANIZATIONS, AMERICAN LEGION POST 712, LIONS CLUB, MASONIC ASSOCIATION, PHARA, PHVFC, SOCCER, ROLLER HOCKEY, BASKETBALL, VOLLEYBALL, COMMUNITY DAY COMMITTEE, LIBRARY, BOY AND GIRL SCOUTS & INDIAN PRINCESS.  THIS SECURITY FEE WILL BE RETURNED IF THE SHELTER AREA IS CLEAN AND IN ORDER AND NO DAMAGE DONE.
